Things I Cook: Pesto Shrimp Pasta

This is another Budget Bytes recipe, one that is light and easy to make, pesto shrimp pasta. Here's how mine turned out:


Note: Instead of spaghetti or angel hair pasta, I used bow tie pasta, which actually does come in a 12-oz package. (That was my reason for buying it, actually.) I also topped mine with shredded Parmesan cheese, which gave it an extra zing.

Verdict: I'd make it again. It was so quick and easy, and it's not at all heavy on your stomach. It's also pretty versatile; paired with wine, it makes a great romantic dinner, or you can pack it up for a work lunch.
